RUBENA has started production of new racing bicycle tires in MTB & Cross category, called V75 SCYLLA (of 54 – 559 size) and V76 CHARYBDIS (of 52 – 559 size) that will meet the most demanding requirements of racers (TOP version = Racing-Pro127 with 127 TPI texture, “silica” containing compound and aramide fibre in the bead). The City & Tour – Trek category is completed with new tread patterns V70 FLIPPER (of 37 – 622 size) and already in spring presented pattern V69 HOOK (of 37 – 622 size). A new pattern V71 SEPIA has been manufactured (of 42 – 622 size) for ATB category. Along with these novelties in tread patterns, RUBENA is presenting a technology innovation. That is another way of protecting tires against puncture based on special cross polyamide fabric inserted under the tire tread (Puncture´s Fear). In this way, puncture resistance is by about 45 % increased.
