TOP DESIGN – „Grey Line“ a victorious world première
Jaroslav Kulhavý, a Rubena factory rider has won first on Apríl 17, in the introductory race of the Czech Cup XC in Teplice and then , right away, on April 25, he has occupied the excellent 4th place in the English Dalby Forest within the serial of races of the World Cup UCI CROSS COUNTRY. When racing on the quite new bicycle tyres SCYLLA Top Design (Grey Line) with the CRX LIGHT COMPOUND he did not give the domestic rivals any chance and, when compared on the foreign level, he has confirmed his position among the world TOP TEN XC RIDER´s
The end of the testing period of new bicycle tyres by the end of April has started the manufacture for the largest sports public to which the whole product collection of the series Top Design – ZEFYROS, SCYLLA and CHARYBDIS using the SE-DUAL CRX COMPOUND „Grey Line“is destined. This new dual combination of compounds starts from the already approved basic compound CRX LIGH COMPOUND in combination with the grey SILICA SOFT COMPOUND (Grey Line). The dual combination of the soft sides of the tyre crown and of its harder middle part creates an ideal combination for the riding properties with regard to the rolling resistance in direct riding and an improved side adhesion when running through hurdles or in bends. This dual compound will be applied in the design versions Racing Pro (127 TPI) and Tubeless Supra (127 TPI).
The 25 years old rider Jaroslav Kulhavý of the Rubena Birell Specialized team belongs among the best contemporary riders in the world on the mountain bicycle and is held for one of the greatest medal hopes of the Czech cycling for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Jaroslav Kulhavý is sponsor of the Czech Cup MTB of disabled persons which has got its première on the territory of the Czech Republic and has given herewith a signal for the whole sports public regarding his civic attitudes.
