RUBENA - partner of the road cycling representation
The support of cycling disciplines in cooperation with the Czech Cycling Federation is a long term instrument for building up the image of the RUBENA brand in the sector of the bicycle industry and developing it more and more rapidly.
The concentration of 10.000 vehicles, 1000 buses and almost 200.000 spectators along the 13.8 km long circuit (with a race length of 262 kilometres, the circuit was ridden 19 times with a total elevation of 4655 metres) together with two hundred elite world-wide road racers, created a great cycling show in the Suisse MENDRISU which was directly broadcast by all the TV units of the cycling powers. The kits of Czech road bikers covered by the brand RUBENA were seen in this broadcast for the entire duration of the race, especially thanks to the special performance of Jan Bárta who at the beginning of the race split from the peloton and in a group with four other riders tried to outrace the main peloton for 17 laps. The coach of the representation, Josef Regec, named Roman Kreuziger, Jan Bárta, Martin Mareš and František Rabon as the exquisite potential of the Czech racers which will surely be proved by the results of the following period.
