RUBENA at Marosana
From 15th to 17th October, the Velká Úpa – Portášky (Pec pod Sněžkou) mountain-side resort hosted from the twentieth year of the MRSN 4down. The extremely tough 1,464 m long course with an altitude difference of 354 m and with a large number of jumps took the organisers several weeks to set up. 240 registered competitors rode down in groups of four and thrilled the crowds with unbelievable jumps and tricks, so it was a real treat for downhill fans. The legend of Freeride, Michal Maroši , together with world champions, Tomáš Slavík, Michal Prokop and Richard Gasperotti entertained ecstatic spectators with their antics for three days. RUBENA presented its cycle tyres intended for Freeride and Downhill – TRITON, TRITON XFR and DEFENDER. The new exhibition range of cycle tyres, RUBENA TRITON X, was sported in factory colours (red and blue) on a racing special belonging to RUBENA factory rider, Richard Gasperotti, gained to attention of both spectators and riders.
