Rubena at EUROBIKE 2011, Rubena Introduced the Twenty-Nine Pro Cross Country
From August 31 – September 3, the EUROBIKE Fair was held in Friedrichshafen, Germany. At this fair, Rubena was able to present its full line of bicycle products including several new items. This most important fair devoted to bicycles was able to celebrate not only its 20th anniversary but also record-breaking attendance. There were 1,090 exhibitors from 101 different countries and the fair occupied more than 110,000 m2. There were almost 200,000 visitors.
Highlights of what Rubena brought to EUROBIKE included its new “twenty-nines” series of tires for cross country bicycles (KRATOS, SCYLLA, ZEFYROS) and its tires for the BMX line (Nitro, Caliber, X-Caliber), FREERIDE (Triton X, Triton XFR) and FOUR CROSS (Harpie, Triton). This was also the world premiere of a series of colored tires (in black, brown, cream and gray) in the BALLOON TIRE line for urban bicycles, the CITYHOPPER. At EUROBIKE, the company also introduced three new 29 inch designs for CROSS COUNTRY: SCYLLA TOP DESIGN V96, KRATOS TOP DESIGN V98 and ZEFYROS TOP DESIGN V97. There was a great deal of interest and positive feedback from visitors on the 29 inch tires with the Racing Pro and Tubeless Supra construction and the new labeling used to brand the tires, which was designed to complement and go along with the new look and colors of the outside of the tires.
