Město na kole (The City on Bikes)
The Město na kole (The City on Bikes) festival intended for all fans of cycling took place over the second weekend in April on the Rašínova nábřeží riverside. Children on pushbikes, recreational day-trippers, enthusiastic athletes and fans of adrenaline sports were thus all catered for.
Visitors were able to have their bikes adjusted, try riding a bike on the water or try some special energy supplements. The full range of new cycling products was on show including the most popular Rubena brand tyres, this being in the categories MTB & CROSS, BMX, FREERIDE, ENDURO, CITY TOUR TREK and ROAD. Despite having a leg is plaster, Richard “Gaspi” Gasperotti ensured a superb sporting programme, preparing and also hosting the Open Challenge – Speed and Style knock-out race at the event.
