Historical success of the motor-cycle MITAS tyres in the ISDE 2006 racing.
On November 14 – 19, 2006, one of the oldest and the most prestigious races of the world, the International Six Day Enduro – ISDE 2006 – has taken place in New Zealand.
Difficult and varied terrain has proved, within these six days, the real art and physical condition of our racers which have represented there an absolute world top.
For the Czech Republic and for the Czech enduro, this edition has been a real historical milestone. In the Club competition, the individual teams of the Motor-cycle Club Jiřetín have occupied three places among the first five racers, which has been achieved for the first time in history. The success has been even greater owing to the fact that all racers of the Motor-cycle Club Jiřetín have been running in these races on the MITAS tyres which have been appreciated exceedingly well.
The Junior Trophy Team of the United States have even been victorious in getting the world trophy of juniors, when three among four racers have been running on the MITAS tyres.
The MITAS a.s. may take the ISDE 2006 edition in this year for being successful owing to the results attained and due to the interest expressed for its trade mark.
