Gasperotti broke the world record of 211.5 km/h on the RUBENA tyres.

RUBENA factory rider, the thirty-two year old Richard “Gaspi” Gasperotti, became the fastest biker in the world on 25 June, 2009 in Lnáře (Czech Republic), in riding a downhill bicycle dragged by a motorbike, hitting the speed of 211.5 km/h.

The mass-produced DEFENDER tyres (26x2.35) with nitrogen-filled X-TREME GRIP COMPOUNDS not only carried Gaspi for his world record but also confirmed the high quality of the mass-produced RUBENA bicycle tyres under extreme load.
