Testing of MPT Radial tyres
In 2003 MITAS a.s. started testing its MPT Radial tyres designated for Mercedes Unimog communal vehicles.
The tests are taking place in SUS Valašské Meziříčí, SUS Uherské Hradiště and Velký Beranov.
All tests are done on 365/80 R20 MPT-21 tyres fitted to Unimog 1650 vehicles. In SUS Vlašské Meziříčí, the tyres have covered a test run of 14,852 kilometers, 7,100 kilometers in SUS Uherské Hradiště and 2,118 kilometers in Velký Beranov.
All tyres are used during winter period in two to three shifts per day mostly for snow clearing of roads and spraying. The vehicles will be used for roadside cleaning and grass cutting in spring and summer periods.
The tests, which are yet to be completed have so far meet any problems and all users have expressed their satisfaction with the tyres.
