RUBENA GREY LINE TOP DESIGN – world premiere at the EUROBIKE trade fair

From the 1st to 4th September, the German city of Friedrichshafen, on the shore of Lake Constance, became the location for 1,100 exhibitors from the cycling industry to present their most engaging products for the 41,482 registered professional visitors, mainly traders. The 1,732 registered journalists attending from 35 countries around the world represent a huge potential for communication with the customers at large. As a traditional exhibitor, Rubena presented a selected range from their portfolio of products of cycle tyres. The time-proven free-standing display stands with latest “customised” cycle tyres fitted on spoked wheels and also afforded the public more detailed information from the advertising leaflet for each category of cycle tyre. The product stand with new graphics for boosting retail sales allowing the complete Grey Line Top Design (ZEFYROS, SCYLLA, CHARYBDIS) product portfolio to be displayed was well-received by traders. The arrangement of the exhibit was dominated by a giant poster with Jaroslav Kulhavý, Jana Horáková and Richard Gasperotti, with a detailed poster with tyre tread designs. The dominant title on the welcoming banner, NEW GREY LINE TOP DESIGN, proudly announced to all visitors the coming of our top new product for the trade fair and then the innovated construction of the TUBELESS SUPRA –with a new 2.25” version with CHARYBDIS and SCYLLA treads – was crowned with glory by Jana Horáková and Jaroslav Kuhlavý gaining the titles of vice-world-champions 2010 in Canada’s Mont St. Anne at the very time the trade fair was taking place.
Projection of the Rubena video documentary captured the attention and wonder of visitors - Jaroslav Kulhavý, Richard Gasperotti, Jana Horáková and their fearless performances on RUBENA cycle tyres in all possible terrain conditions.
Catalogues, posters and other advertising materials were supported on excellent foundations of high quality photographic shots of Rubena factory team riders with details of RUBENA tyres. Public interest was attracted by limited edition marketing materials with the inscription EUROPEAN MTB CHAMPION (in honour of Jaroslav Kulhavý’s gold medal in the 2010 Cross Country European Championships), the most popular of which were Rubena hockey pucks, movement-sensitive flashing pencil, T-shirts and postcards with the Rubena factory team riders on them.
The autograph signing by Richard “Gaspi” Gasperotti at the Rubena stand enjoyed great response.
