MITAS motorcycle tyres in Indianapolis
From 14 to 16 February 2004 the American city of Indianapolis played host to the 36th annual motorcycle and accessories exhibition Dealer Expo 2004, the biggest event of its type in the world.
A total of 1,117 exhibitors came to Indianapolis this year, among them major motorcycle manufacturers such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha and BMW in addition to many other companies in motorcycle business.
Naturally a full range of tyre companies also took part, including Michelin, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Pirelli, Metzeler and Maxxis. Dealer Expo is unique in that only registered dealers are allowed to exhibit, marking the event a magnet for professionals in the field.
MITAS exhibited its new cross tyres MITAS and unique spiked tyres Trelleborg which are very popular on the north american market. MITAS is now a well-known brand in the USA thanks to its high quality and reasonable price.
